¾ÅÉ«Ìà today announced the re-appointment of past and highly valued Board member Mr Richard Garvey.
Mr Garvey is a past partner at KPMG and served as an advisory member to the Board of ¾ÅÉ«Ìà until 2006 when he embarked on full time executive roles with large private corporations including audit, accounting, tax and advisory services in addition to governance and property development.
Andrew Noble, director and general manager of ¾ÅÉ«Ìà said “The Board is delighted to welcome back Richard as director of Vaughan Constructions ¾ÅÉ«Ìà Ltd. Richard’s past involvement was highly valued by the Board and we look forward to re-engaging with Richard and his wealth of business acumen, experience and his extensive network of business contacts.”
Mr Garvey will be replacing, Mr Graeme Matthews, also a past partner of KPMG, who was initially recommended and introduced to Vaughan’s by Mr Garvey. Mr Matthews is pursuing existing agricultural and business interests.

Mr Garvey and Mr Matthews will both attend forthcoming Board meetings until the end of FY16 to ensure a smooth transition for ¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ.
Mr Garvey spent over 22 years as a partner of KPMG providing specialised advice in audit, accounting, tax and advisory services. Mr Garvey has served the Hawthorn Football Club as an audit partner, a key external financial advisor for over 10 years and is currently the club’s acting president; premiership winners of the Australian Football League for the last three years.
Recently appointed director of ¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ, Mr Garvey said “It is with great pleasure that I accept the role as director at ¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ.
