Vaughan Constructions is partnering with Belmonde Property Group and ResourceCo to deliver a world-class resource recovery facility in Hemmant, Queensland.
A first of its kind in Queensland, the new facility will focus on the diversion and sorting of landfill construction waste, and in turn converting this into fuel to power cement kilns.
ResourceCo is a global leader in the recovery and re-manufacturing of primary resources, extracting maximum value from materials otherwise destined for landfill. Their impressive work transforming waste into usable products preserves the planet’s limited resources, creating a more sustainable future.
An immense amount of waste ends up in landfill each year and this project will bring to the State a revolutionary waste-to-energy solution.
The new 9,000m² facility will include 8,200m² of warehouse space, 660m² of office space and 11,000m² of external area.
